Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) / Startup and Innovation Cell

As per the guidelines of Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE, and to foster the culture of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Startups in the Campus, the Startup and Innovation Cell is hereby re-constituted with immediate effect.

Objectives of the Cell

  1. To create an ecosystem for scouting ideas and pre-incubation of ideas.
  2. To organize innovation and entrepreneurship related activities like Hackathons, Idea Competitions, Workshops and Expert Talks.
  3. To support student startups and facilitate filing of patents and IPR.
  4. To establish linkage with incubation centers, MSME and funding agencies.
  5. To submit quarterly reports on IIC portal and participate in ARIIA ranking.

The Cell will conduct at least 2 activities per quarter and maintain records as per MIC norms.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain valid for the A.Y 2026-27.
